It is considered &#8220;the lung of the planet&#8221; because it contains one tenth of all the forests on Earth. With the exception of Brazil, Peru has the largest extension of the Amazon. In <strong>Peru<\/strong> the two most famous cities that are connected to the Amazon are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/viajes.travelatin.com\/en\/tours\/the-essential-amazon-basin-perama01\/\">Puerto Maldonado<\/a><\/strong> and Iquitos. Both are amazing.
