Itinerary:<\/strong>
\nDay 1: Arequipa \u2013 Tapay viewing point \u2013 San Juan de Chuccho<\/strong>
\nBetween 03:00 am and 03:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel for the drive to the Colca valley. The journey will take us approximately 4 hours, as far as Chivay (the main town in the valley), where we will stop for breakfast. Then the trip to the Cruz del Condor will continue (approximately 2 hours), where we will stop to appreciate one of the best views of the Colca canyon and the opportunity to be impressed with the flight of the mythical bird of the Incas, the condor. We will continue to Pampa San Miguel (20 minutes approx.) where we will begin our walk. The descent into the canyon will take us approximately 3 \u00bd to 4 hours. During the walk, as we descend we will pass Andean and tropical vegetation, and be able to observe the geological formation of Colca Canyon, which forms part of the Andes mountain range. At the bottom of the canyon, we will cross the San Juan de Chuccho suspension bridge, before arriving at the village of the same name, where we will spend the night in local people\u2019s houses, specially prepared to receive tourists (basic accommodation).<\/p>\n

Day 2: San Juan de Chuccho \u2013 Sangalle (Oasis)<\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast, we will set off once more on our walk. We will ascend approximately 300 meters, arriving first at the village of Cosnihua and later at the community of Malata, where there will be time to experience the way of life of local people, in a village that has no vehicle access. Then, we will continue to Sangalle (oasis), with its high Andean vegetation mixed with tropical vegetation, where thanks to a warm spring it is possible to enjoy a refreshing bathe in the pools found at this beautiful place (the water temperature is approximately 18\u00baC). We will have lunch here and spend our second night in basic cabins.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Oasis Sangalle \u2013 Cabanaconde \u2013 Chivay \u2013 Arequipa<\/strong>
\nAt 04:30 am we will begin the ascent, along a steep and zigzagging trail. After approximately three hours we will have the satisfaction of completing this beautiful route. We\u2019ll have breakfast in a local restaurant and then board our vehicle and head for the viewing point at Cruz del Condor. We will then return to Chivay, and have the option of visiting the La Calera thermal baths. Lunch and return to Arequipa, arriving in the city between 05:00 pm and 06:00 pm.<\/p>\n
