Day 1: Uros Islands and Taquile Island
We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to the port in Puno. After a 25-minute boat ride, we will arrive at the floating islands. We will visit one of the Uros Islands, exploring with the help of our guide the practices and customs of these people, and their way of life on this vast body of water in the middle of the Andes. Travelers can also choose to enjoy a ride on a reed boat (not included). We will then continue our boat ride across Lake Titicaca to Taquile Island, to learn more about culture on the highest navigable lake in the world.
